Daniel5 Whitney (Daniel4, Jonathan3, Jonathan2, John1), son of Daniel4 and Thankful (Allen) Whitney, was born 4 Sep 1746, Shrewsbury, MA,[1] and died Jun 1817, aged 68 years.[2]
He "of Shrewsbury" married, 26 Sep 1771, Oxford, MA, Katy Stone "of the County Gore", daughter of Uriah and Mary (Blunt) Stone. She was born 15 Nov 1752, Oxford, MA.
Pierce says the following:[3]
