Samuel Vincent8 Whitney (Samuel7, Silas6, Samuel5, William4, Nathaniel3, John2, John1), son of Samuel7 and Abigail (Wilder) Whitney, was born 25 May 1820, Ashburnham, MA, and died 3 Jul 1856, Ashburnham, MA.

He married, 31 Jan 1843, Ashburnham, MA, Sarah Ann Russell. She was born -----, and died 9 Apr 1875.

He was postmaster for some years and engaged in the morocco business; resided Ashburnham, MA.

Children of Samuel V.8 and Sarah Ann (Russell) Whitney:
