Thank you so much for adding in your lineage. I searched back through the census records and was able to trace Willis W. Whitney and his father George W Whitney from 1910 back to 1850. However, I was not able to connect George W. Whitney to the man you say is his father, Joseph Whitney. That Joseph Whitney we show no further information for, and have not found any records for any wife or children. You stated that you have a chart with Joseph and Esther Crittendon listed on it. This is great info. Does the chart say anything else about Joseph? Does it actually list his as the son of Caleb? We'd love to learn more about this family.

Your Whitney Line

Martin:

Thank you so much for adding in your lineage. I searched back through the census records and was able to trace Willis W. Whitney and his father George W Whitney from 1910 back to 1850. However, I was not able to connect George W. Whitney to the man you say is his father, Joseph Whitney. That Joseph Whitney we show no further information for, and have not found any records for any wife or children. You stated that you have a chart with Joseph and Esther Crittendon listed on it. This is great info. Does the chart say anything else about Joseph? Does it actually list his as the son of Caleb? We'd love to learn more about this family.
