Asaph6 Whitney (Jonathan5, Benjamin4, Benjamin3, Benjamin2, John1), son of Jonathan5 and Eunice (Marshall) Whitney; born 21 Jun 1780, Dalton, MA, was baptized 3 Nov 1776, Hopkinton, MA,[1] and died 1858, Amboy, NY.
He married, Preston, CT, Bethiah Hopkins. She was born 2 June 1777, Preston, CT, and died 1830, Cato, NY.
He was a turner; manufactured brush handles, bedsteads, etc. He resided Rupert, VT, Greenwich and Amboy, NY.
