Zechariah5 Whitney (John4, Joseph3, John2, John1), son of John4 and Sarah (Cutting) Whitney, was born 28 Dec 1711 at Watertown, MA.[1]

Zechariah married, 11 Apr 1739, Lunenburg, MA, Sarah Boynton,[2] daughter of Hilkiah and Priscilla (-----) Boynton, by the Rev. David Stearns, minister of Lunenburg. She was born 1 Jan 1718/9, Lunenburg, MA.

He signed a petition on 31 Dec 1746 at Lunenburg, MA. He lived in 1781 at Lunenburg, MA.
