Joseph7 Whitney (Elisha6, Samuel5, William4, Nathaniel3, John2, John1), son of Elisha6 and Eunice (Seaver) Whitney, was born 22 Feb 1785, Westminster, MA,[1] and died 2 May 1877, Pittsfield, OH.

He married, 27 Apr 1811, Andover, VT, Abigail Townes, daughter of Aaron and Abigail (Johnson) Towne [sic]. She was born 22 Jan 1791, Andover, VT, and died 2 Apr 1872, Pittsfield, OH.
