I have a subscription to ancestry.com, which includes all of the U.S. census records digitized and indexed. I use it frequently in my research, so the annual subscription is worth it for me. I didn't see George & Ella yet, but I'm still going to look further. Sometimes searches are easy, sometimes you really have to dig to find them - various spellings, etc.

Welcome!

William:

Welcome to the Whitney Research Group website. I did a quick search and found four couples named George and Ella Whitney in the 1920 census - in Kansas, Maine, New York, and Virginia. Do you know where your family lived? This would help us to find your branch.

Thanks!
