Merrick T.9 Whitney (Torrey8, Moses7, Samuel6, Samuel5, Nathaniel4, Nathaniel3, John2, John1), son of Torrey8 and Betsey (Lamb) Whitney, was born 20 Nov 1818, Jackson, PA, and died 24 Mar 1887, Thompson, PA.
He married, 26 Nov 1842, Fostina L. Wheaton. She was born 25 Aug 1818.
Merrick T. Whitney was born in Jackson, PA, and settled on the farm in 1842 where he ever after lived in Thompson.
