Warham9 Whitney (James Mordoff8, Warham7, John6, Joshua5, Nathaniel4, Nathaniel3, John2, John1), son of James Mordoff8 and Martha Louise (Pond) Whitney, was born 3 Jul 1854, Rochester, NY.
He married, 16 Apr 1885, Elmira, NY, Fanny Palmer Arnot. She was born 14 Jul 1860.
He has always lived in Rochester, going to its schools. After leaving school he received the appointment of deputy city treasurer. From there he went as assistant bookkeeper at the Rochester Savings bank and left the bank to become a member of the firm of Whitney & Wilson, proprietors of one of the largest flouring mills of that city, of which firm he is still a member; resided Rochester, NY.
