Albert Appleton7 Whitney (Appleton Downer6, Asa5, Joshua4, William3, Joshua2, John1), son of Appleton Downer6 and Dolly Wyman, was born 10 Dec 1811, and died Oct 1854, New London, OH.

He married, 1833, Jenette Brown. She died [about 1851], Wellington OH (1849 according to Pierce, but appears in 1850 census).

"He was a farmer, and was extensively engaged in buying and selling cattle. He resided New London, OH."
