Simeon7 Whitney (Nathaniel6, Abel5, Naham4, Nathaniel3, Benjamin2, John1), son of Nathaniel6 and Zilpah (Martin) Whitney, was born 12 Apr 1799, Standish, ME,[1], was baptized 5 Dec 1816, Standish, ME,[2] and died 8 Sep 1873 [per Pierce], or 4 Dec 1884, Harrison, ME, aged 85 years, 8 months.[3] He was buried in Center Cemetery, Harrison, ME.
Marriage intentions were published 10 Nov 1824, for him "of Hiram" and Joanna Shaw "of Standish".[4] He "of Hiram" married, 2 Dec 1824, Standish, ME, Joanna Shaw "of Standish",[5] daughter of Ebenezer and Salome (Green) Shaw.
