He "of Watertown" married 5 Jan 1769, Newton, MA, Hannah Tombs.[3]
Pierce says the following:[4]
- He was in one of the Watertown companies in the Revolutionary war.

Elizabeth Whitney, b. aft. 8 Sep 1769; "Betsey" m. 30 Aug 1789, Dummerston, VT, Seth Knight.[7] v. Henry Whitney, b. 18 Jan 1779, Watertown, MA; m. Fanny Miller.
