George Appleton8 Whitney (George Ransom7, Appleton Downer6, Asa5, Joshua4, William3, Joshua2, John1), son of George Ransom7 and Harriett Maria (Bronson) Whitney, was born 28 Nov 1838, Berea, OH, and died 2 Aug 1908, Evansville, IN, aged 69 years.[1]

He married, 2 Dec 1869, Elyria, OH, Mary Arabella Patterson, daughter of Hiram Patterson. She was born 10 May 1850, OH, and died after 1930.
