James2 Whitney (Patrick1), son of Patrick1 and Johana (-----) Whitney, was born Jun 1844, MD, and died before 14 Aug 1917, perhaps Washington Co., MD.
He married, circa 1888, Margaret V. (-----) Durboraw. She was born about 1830 or 1840 or Sep 1849, VA (according to various census records), and had previously been married to Isaac Durboraw.

i. Catherine J. Whitney, b. 1888, MD; m. James A. Reed; resided 808 W. Franklin Street, Hagerstown, MD, in 1917 and 1920.
