John6 Whitney (Samuel5, Benjamin4, John3, Benjamin2, John1), son of Samuel5 and Lydia (Curtis) Whitney; born 1 Jun 1808, Lisbon, ME,[1] died 3 Oct 1887, Methuen, MA, aged 79 years 4 months 1 days, of chronic cystitis.[2]

Marriage intentions were published 16 Sep 1836, Lisbon, ME, for him and his first wife, Mary S. Kimball, both "of Lisbon".[3] "Mary, 1st wife of John" d. 14 Apr 1843, Lisbon, ME.[4]

He "Mr." married secondly 9 or 19 Apr 1844, Lisbon, ME, "Miss" Almira Turner, both "of Lisbon".[5]
