Thomas Francis8 Whitney (Leonard7, Ezekiel6, Ezekiel5, John4, Benjamin3, John2, John1), son of Leonard7 and Ruth Richardson (Larrabee) Whitney, was born 1 Sep 1823,[1] Sudbury, MA, and died 13 Jan 1898, Watertown, MA, aged 75 years 3 months 13 days, of chronic cystitis.[2]

He married firstly, 9 Mar 1846, Watertown, MA, Eunice P. Bates.[3] She was born about Feb 1825, Waterville or Fairfield, ME, and died 23 Jan 1859, Watertown, MA, aged 33 years 11 months, of consumption.[4]

He "sailmaker" married secondly, 6 Oct 1859, Watertown, MA, Cynthia Brown, of Newton.[5] She was born about 1831, Sterling or Newton, MA.
