He married, 31 Dec 1868, Atlanta, GA, Sarah Jane Barry, daughter of Charles Moore and Elizabeth (Patton (Crook) Barry. She was born 2 Jun 1838, Summerville, GA, and died 8 Jan 1924, Augusta, GA.
