Charles Whitney (Pryor, Hiram, (perhaps) Elijah), son of Pryor and Sarah (Hendricks) Whitney, was born about 8 Aug 1847, KY, and died 23 Apr 1911, Dunklin Co., MO.
He married 24 Feb 1878, Lyon County, KY, Ellen or Ella G. Bannister. She was born circa 1857, KY, and died after 1880.
Children of Charles and Ellen/Ella G. (Bannister) Whitney:.
i. Maria Whitney, b. 1882, KY. ii. Kirkland Whitney, b. 1884, KY. iii. Ollie Whitney, b. 1886, KY, m. Arthur C. Thrower, 18 Aug 1909, Dunklin Co. MO.
