Leonard Whitney (Lemuel), son of Lemuel and Mary (Woods) Whitney, was born 12 Mar 1794, Orange, MA,[1] and died 26 Dec 1825, Medfield, MA.[2]
He married, 1 Sep 1822, Boston, MA, Achsah Cole,[3] daughter of Asa and Sarah (Kingsbury) Cole. She was born 1 Sep 1798, Medfield, MA.
The death record of Adrial L. Whitney from Union, Maine says that his father's name was Leonard Whitney, born Orange, MA, and his mother was Achsah Cole, born Medfield, MA.[4]
