Mr. Spring was born in 1885, a son of the late Alfred and Ella Winchester Spring. His wife, the former Bertha Green, died Dec. 3, 1958. Mr. Spring was a member of the Attica Methodist Church. Surviving are three sons, LaVerne and Clifford, both of Alexander, and Albert Spring of Chicago; three daughters, Mrs. Harry Mayer and Mrs. Gordon Mayer, both of Attica, and Mrs. Gerald Pitocchelli of Alexander, and two brothers, Grant of Alexander and Clyde Spring of Buffalo. Clayton Burton Spring (Alfred F., Sylvester P., Erastus, Amos, Amos, Abigail Chadwick, Sarah4 Whitney, Nathaniel3, John2, John1, ThomasA, RobertB), son of Alfred F. and Ella May (Winchester) Spring, was born 7 December 1885, Attica, Wyoming County, New York, and died 10 October 1959, Batavia, Genesee County, New York.
He married Bertha Nellie Green, daughter of Julius Sardis and Arabelle (Houseknecht) Green. She was born 3 February 1895, Alabama, Genesee County, New York, and died 3 December, Batavia, Genesee County, New York.
