Louise Ellen "Lois"8 Whitney (Sedate7, John6, John5, (poss.) Samuel4, John3, Benjamin2, John1), daughter of Sedate7 and Dolly (Heal) Whitney), was born Mar 1848, prob. Lincolnville, ME, and died 10 Mar 1929, St. Cloud, Osceola Co., FL.
She married 16 Dec 1866, Lincolnville, ME, LeRoy Scott Davis, son of William and Tryphenia (Fletcher) Davis. He was born 4 Oct 1847, Rockport, ME, and died 27 Sep 1932, St. Cloud, Osceola Co., FL.
Both Louise and LeRoy Davis are buried in the Mount Peace Cemetery in St. Cloud, FL. LeRoy apparently died of an epileptic seizure, but had been beaten by a caregiver prior to his death. He was a veteran of the Civil War, and received a pension for his service.
