Hollis⁸ Whitney (Guilford⁷, Samuel⁶, Samuel⁵, Nathaniel⁴, Nathaniel³, John², John¹), son of Guilford⁷ and Anna (Locke) Whitney, was born 30 Dec 1793, Marlboro, VT, and died after 1850.

He married firstly, 31 Oct 1816, Cuyahoga Co., OH, Charlotte Wallis. She was born VT, and died before 1829.

He married secondly, 8 Mar 1829, Cuyahoga Co., OH, Sarah Burnett or Bennett. She was born about 1794, VT, and died after 1850.

He resided Strongsville, OH, and Kenosha, WI.
