Alonzo L.7 Whitney (Eliab Turner6, Josiah5, John4, Nathaniel3, Benjamin2, John1), son of Eliab Turner6 and Lydia (Williams) Whitney, was born 9 Aug 1847, Newcastle, ME{{ref, and died after 1910, prob. Rockport, MA.

He married firstly, 21 Mar 1872, Rockport, MA, Rhoda Alice Parsons, daughter of Calvin T. and Theresa A. (Woodbury) Parsons.[1] She was born 19 Dec 1852, Rockport, MA, and died 4 Jul 1880, Rockport, MA, aged 27 years 6 months 9 days, of epilepsy and obscure cerebral disease.[2]
