John Angier6 Whitney (George5, Jason4, Mark3, Benjamin2, John1) born Natick, Massachusetts, 20 Dec 1817; married 26 Oct 1852, Emily Walker, of Natick; married 2d, Lizzie Thomson, of St. Johns, N. B., resided Natick, Massachusetts.

He was born in Natick and has always resided there; has been a prominent citizen. For some years he was assessor of taxes, later was enumerator for the United States census. Also conducted a farm and engaged in the manufacture of shoes.
