My name is Patrick Marten Whitney. My father's name is Walter Marten Whitney. My grandfather's name is Prosper King Whitney III. My great-grandfather's name is Prosper King Whitney II. My great-great-grandfather's name is Prosper King Whitney.
I am trying to see how far back I can go. I am also trying to see if I am related to Eli Whitney (the cotton gin guy) and if I am a decendent of a confederate soldier. Help me, please!
