Noah Ashley6 Whitney (Joshua5, Joshua4, William3, Joshua2, John1), son of Joshua5 and Anna (Ashley) Whitney, was born 26 Dec 1770, Salisbury, CT, and died Nov 1834, Toledo, OH.

He married firstly, 26 Oct 1796, Lanesborough, MA, Olive Dorwin. She was born 13 Oct 1777, Lanesborough, MA, and died 22 Feb 1817.

He married secondly, 10 Jul 1817, "Mrs." Elizabeth (-----) Rose. She died Sep 1834.

He was born in Salisbury, Litchfield county, CT, but early moved to Lanesborough, MA, where he was married. For many years he was in the iron business, but during the latter part of his life was a farmer. He resided Pittsfield, MA, Oswego Falls, NY, and Toledo, OH.

Notes

Ambrose Cone and wife Harriet J. were living in Whiteford, Monroe Co., MI, in 1860. Harriet J. Whitney was living in this family in 1850. We deduce that she was the daughter of Milton mentioned above.
