Rev. Dennis John8 Whitney (David7, Thomas6, Benjamin5, Joseph4, Joseph3, Jonathan2, John1), son of David7 and Maria (Smith) Whitney; born Orange County, Vermont, 8 Nov 1848; married 29 Apr 1869, Nancy Almeda McCune, born 27 Dec 1849; died 6 Dec 1875; married 2d, 19 Feb 1888, Idagene Lacy, born July 2, 1858.
