William Miller8 Whitney (William Henry7, Henry6, Benjamin5, Daniel4, Benjamin3, John2, John1), son of William Henry7 and Fanny (Miller) Whitney, was born 18 Oct 1804, Dummerston, VT, and died 24 Jun 1886, Aurora, NY.

He married firstly, 26 Nov 1824, Dummerston, VT, Delilah Williams. She was born 16 Jul 1802, VT or RI, and died 21 May 1865. She is buried in Oakwood Cemetery, East Aurora, NY.

He married secondly, before 1880, Elizabeth (Williams) Coats. She was born about 1831, NY, and died 7 Apr 1915, Aurora, NY. She is buried in Griffen Mills Cemetery, Aurora, NY.
