Ralph Jay Whitney (William Henry Whitney), son of Wiliam Henry Whitney, was born 16 Mar 1911, Fresno, CA, and died 15 Nov 1992, Fresno, CA.
He married 21 Nov 1937, Oakland, CA, Evelyn Ethel Peterson, daughter of Albin Daniel and Hazel Elvira (Bombard) Peterson. She born 6 Feb 1913, Chicago, IL, and died 21 May 2008, Santa Clara County, CA.
Albin Daniel Peterson was of Swedish descent, died at age 27 when Evelyn was 4 years of age, is buried in Chicago, IL. Hazel Peterson remarried - Claude Gorton, a WWI veteran from NY state.
