Flavel Whitney

Flavel8 Whitney (Guilford7, Samuel6, Samuel5, Nathaniel4, Nathaniel3, John2, John1), son of Guilford7 and Anna (Locke) Whitney, was born 30 Sep 1804, Marlboro, VT, and died 29 Oct 1877, Strongsville, OH.

He married firstly, 7 Feb 1828, Cuyahoga Co., OH, Clarinda Tuttle,[1] daughter of Ezra and Clarinda (Johnson) Tuttle. She was born 1 Feb 1806, Rowe, MA, and died 15 or 20 Feb 1830, Dover, Athens Co., OH.

He married secondly, 11 Nov 1830, Cuyahoga Co., OH, Electa Harvey,[2] daughter of Ithamar and Electa (Fowler) Harvey. She was born 1794, Hadlyme, CT, and died 6 Oct 1831, Strongsville, OH. She is buried in Strongsville Cemetery, Strongsville, OH.

He married thirdly, 4 Nov 1832, Cuyahoga Co., OH, Amelia Allen.[3] She was born 16 Sep 1812, Norwich, CT, and died 2 Aug 1847 or 22 Aug 1843, Strongsville, OH.

He married fourthly, 1849, Mrs. Catherine Amanda (-----) Barnes. She was born about 1813, NJ, and died 31 Dec 1852, Strongsville, OH.

He married fifthly, 17 Apr 1853, Medina Co., OH, Lucy Alma Cole, daughter of Walter and Content (Humiston) Cole. She was born 13 Nov 1808, Colesville, NY, and died Nov 1889, Strongsville, OH.

He resided Strongsville, OH.
