Aaron6 Whitney (Levi5, Daniel4, Jonathan3, Jonathan2, John1), son of Levi5 and Rebecca (Clark) Whitney,[1] was born 13 Sep 1772, Townsend, MA, [2] and died 16 Feb 1845, Calais, ME.

He married firstly, 16 Mar 1797, Phebe Dunklee. She was born 20 Dec 1778, and died 31 Jan 1800.

He married secondly, Olive Lund. She was born Aug 1779, and died Jan 1867.

He was a blacksmith by trade, and in 1812 was the postmaster at Amherst. His shop was burned in 1815, and in 1819 he moved to Calais. He was a prominent citizen in Amherst for some time. He resided Nashua, NH, and Amherst, MA, and Calais, ME.
