Joseph7 Whitney (Jonathan6, Joseph5, Benjamin4, Joseph3, John2, John1), son of Jonathan6 and Susanna (Norcross) Whitney, was born 16 Jun 1774, Watertown, MA, [1] was baptized 21 Jun 1774, Watertown, MA,[2] and died after 1810.

Marriage intentions were published 25 Jun 1798, Watertown, MA, for him "Jr." and Rebecca Priest "of Groton".[3] She was probably the Rebecca Priest born 24 Mar 1772, Bolton, MA, daughter of Jeremiah and Rebecca (Houghton) Priest.

Children of Joseph7 and Rebecca (Priest) Whitney (probably incomplete):

i. George P.8 Whitney, b. ca. 1810, Watertown, MA; m. Ruth Dunham.
