Jacob Whitney (Jacob), son of Jacob and Elizabeth B. (Stretch) Whitney, was born about 1818, Boston, MA, and died 14 Sep 1881, Lynn, MA, aged 62 years, of dysentery, shoemaker, lived in the Lynn Almshouse.[1]
He married firstly, 23 Jul 1843, Lynn, MA, Sarah Jackson.[2] She was born about 1813.
He married secondly, 10 Apr 1860, Lynn, MA, Honora "Norah" Connor, daughter of Brian and Mary (-----) Connor. She was born about 1815-1820, Ireland.[3]
He married thirdly, 15 Oct 1880, Lynn, MA, Elizabeth (Downing) Allen, daughter of William and Phebe (-----) Downing. She was born about 1819, Baltimore, MD.[4]
They lived in Lynn, MA. He was a cordwainer or shoemaker. On the 1850 census, she is listed as being deaf and dumb.
