Otis C.8 Whitney (Otis7, Solomon6, Solomon5, Nathaniel4, Nathaniel3, John2, John1), son of Otis7 and Sarah (Taylor) Whitney, was born 26 Sep 1801, Campton, NH,[1] and died 11 Sep 1877, Boston, MA, aged 67 years, of heart disease, carpenter, son of Otis and Sarah, b. NH.[2]
He married, before 1836, Mary F. Derby, daughter of Loring and Eliza (Ditson) Derby. She was born about 1818, Cambridge, MA, and died 5 Nov 1871, Boston, MA, aged 43 years, of apoplexy.[3]
