Family:Whitney, Pierpont (c1809-a1880)

Pierpont Whitney, parentage unknown but perhaps the son of Thomas and ----- (-----) Whitney, was born 1808, CT,^[1] and died after 1880.

He married, 5 Dec 1832, Cuyahoga Co. or Trumbull Co., OH, Calfronia Burdick.^[2] She was born 17 Apr 1810, NY, and died 9 Jun 1883, Bridgewater, OH.

Children of Pierpont and Calfronia (Burdick) Whitney:

i.	Asahel W. Whitney, b. ca. 1836, OH; m. Ellen Lovina Robbins.
ii.	Harriet Whitney, b. ca. 1837, OH.
iii.	Thomas Whitney, b. ca. 1849, OH.

He is perhaps the son of Family:Whitney, Thomas (1779-a1815), though no proof has been located.
