Thomas O.8 Whitney (Edward8, Eleazer7, Ebenezer6, Samuel5, Samuel4, John3, Benjamin2, John1), son of Edward8 and Annie Holdsworth (Knox) Whitney, was born 30 May 1838, Palmyra, ME, and died 25 Feb 1900, Hartland, ME.[1]

He married firstly, about 1861, Nancy M. Hilton.

He married secondly, 21 May 1867, St. Albans, ME, Clara R. Elder, daughter of Eben W. and Ruby Ann (Wing) Elder. She was born 1847 and died 1925.[2]
