Francis Whitney, son of Francis and Julia (Lunge) Whitney, was born about 1828, about 1829, or about 7 Sep 1824, Bushville, Quebec, Canada, and died 4 Jan 1874, Wolcott, VT, aged 49 years 3 months 27 days, of apoplexy.[1] He was recorded as "Charles F." in the 1870 census, for reasons unknown.
He married, say 1853, Alvira Hendee Gifford. She was born about 1834-1836, VT, and died after 1870.
