Bartholomew Bliss Whitney, apparently son of "Holmes Whitney and Lucy Bliss" or "----- Bliss and ----- -----", and apparently adopted son of Joel B.⁹ and Mary Ann (Morrow) Whitney, was born 5 Jun 1850, Sheldon, VT, and died 26 Nov 1935, Wheelock, VT, aged 85 years 6 months 21 days, of valvular disease of heart.^[1]

He married, 20 Sep 1870, Irasburg, VT, Rosie E. Berry, dau. of Samuel and Hannah (-----) Berry.^[2]
