Martha Ann Whitney (Phineas7, Levi6, Abel5, Nathan4, Nathaniel3, Benjamin2, John1), was born 08 24 1841, Portland, ME, and died 05 23 1906, Watertown, MA.

She married 02 18 1865, Portland, ME, Albertus A. Kimball. He was born abt 1842, Maine.

Martha Ann was known as "Mattie". She is found in the 1880 Census in Chelsea, MA, residing with her brother, Charles Whitney. Her husband Albertus may be deceased by then, as he is not found in the census. On Mattie's death record the informant is her son George. Her identity is confirmed by him with the identity of her parents. However, He provides incorrect information about her age and place of birth.

Mattie's husband Albertus is found as an 18 year old in the 1870 Census of Lawrence, MA.

Mattie is buried in the Ridgelawn Cemetery, Watertown, MA.
