Nathaniel⁷ Whitney (John⁶, James⁵, James⁴, John³, Jonathan², John¹), son of John⁶ and Hannah (Holbrook) Whitney, was born 10 Jul 1772, Sherborn, MA,^[1] and died 2 May 1837, Manlius, NY, aged 64 years 9 months, buried Christ Church Cemetery, Manlius, NY.^[2]

He, of Whitestown, married, 3 Jan 1799, New Hartford, Oneida Co., NY,^[3] Deborah Eames, daughter of John and Ruth (Stone) Eames. She was born 10 Feb 1778, Framingham, MA, and died 28 Jun 1840, Manlius, NY, aged 62 years 4 months.^[4]

He resided Manlius, NY.

Children of Nathaniel and Deborah (Eames) Whitney, not determined, although censuses show they had several born between 1800 and 1820. Possibles:

i.	(?) Sumner Whitney, b. ca. 1801; m. Marella Cross.
