So your line appears to be: Steve, Jack, Calbert, Lyle, William, James H. Whitney. This is about where the census records run out, so we'll now need to search for James H. Whitney. Perhaps we can find him in Pierce.

I found them!!! Take a look at Family:Whitney, James Hervey (1808-?).

Your line is Steve13, Jack12, Calbert11, Lyle10, William P.9, James Hervey8, Moses7, Joseph6, Joseph5, Thomas4, Thomas3, Thomas2, John1

It appears that we have some of the children linkages wrong for the children of this family. I need to do some editing here to correct this. In the meantime, your Lyall A. Whitney does appear in Pierce on page 643. See Archive:The Descendants of John Whitney, page 643.

Percy Bacon

I just found the following:

1900 U.S. Census, Mesa, Mesa Co., CO, p. 19A
Bacon, George W. Head Jul 1847 52 Indiana Farmer
-- Mary E Wife Mar 1848 52 Kentucky
-- James B Son May 1874 26 Illinois Indiana Kentucky Farm Laborer
-- Fred W Son Oct 1876 23 Indiana Indiana Kentucky Farm Laborer
-- Percy M Dau Dec 1880 19 Illinois Indiana Kentucky Teaching
-- Oliva DinL Jan 1881 19 Colorado New York Kansas

So Percy was actually Percy M. Bacon.
