Orange9 Whitney (John8, Joseph Glazier7, Abner6, Samuel5, William4, Nathaniel3, John2, John1), son of John8 and Eliza (Cushing) Whitney, was born 16 Mar 1849, Ashburnham, MA.
He married, 5 Jun 1875, Laura M. Collester. She was born 17 Dec 1849,[1] and died 28 Jan 1885, Winchendon, MA, aged 35 years 1 month 11 days, buried at Gardner, MA.[2]
He was born in Ashburnham, MA, where he always resided until 1881, when he moved to Winchendon. Like his father he was engaged in the manufacture of chairs, and at one time was located in the Burgess mills, in Ashburnham. Has many town offices of trust and honor; resided Ashburnham and Winchendon, MA.
