Emory Stewart8 Whitney (Nathaniel7, Nathaniel6, Samuel5, Nathaniel4, Nathaniel3, John2, John1), son of Nathaniel7 and Sally (Stewart) Whitney, was born Marlboro, VT, 28 Feb 1805, and died 21 Jun 1839, Marlboro, VT.
He married, 25 Oct 1827, Sarepta Hale, of Brattleboro. She was born 12 Oct 1804, and died 27 Apr 1878. She married secondly, 18 Sep 1842, Jacob White. He was born 7 Mar 1789. They had one child, Charles H. White, born 2 Oct 1845.
He resided Marlboro, VT.
