Jesse6 Whitney (Isaac5, Jason4, Mark3, Benjamin2, John1), son of Isaac5 and Susanna (Turnback)(Hall) Whitney, was born 3 May 1808, Middlesex, NY, and died 11 Nov 1853, Macomb, MI.
He married, 1835, Eliza C. Shepherd. She was born 1819.
He was a farmer. He resided Macomb, MI.

i. Horace Isaac Whitney, b. 10 Jul 1836; m.(1) Minnie Preston; m.(2) Mary Elizabeth. ii. James Voak7 Whitney, b. 4 Jan 1839; m. Mary E. Taylor. iii. Lewis Dodge Whitney, b. 1845; d. unmarried Jan 1865, in Libby prison; was in the 8th Michigan Cavalry. iv. Hannah H. O. Whitney, b. 14 Nov 1847; m. 23 May 1867, Luther Parker.
