Richard Seaver7 Whitney (Richard6, Simon5, Daniel4, Benjamin3, John2, John1), son of Richard6 and Mary Elizabeth (Parker) Whitney, was born 13 Feb 1818, Amherst, MA, and died 30 Nov 1880, Salem, MA.

He married, 4 Apr 1854, Salem, MA, Amelia Arrington. She was born 10 Mar 1825.

He was a carriage trimmer and harness maker. He resided Salem, MA.
