He married Hazel Francis Lee. She was born "10/11/1908" in Boston, MA. Her cremated remains are with her daughter Virginia Whitney Fletcher Collins (info as of 5/2009)

Clarence A Whitney was a businessman. He and his brother, Warren Whitney, took over their parents General Store (which originally was a Pharmacy ran by their father Josiah F. (b.1860))It was called Whitney Bros. and was located at 4082 Washington St. Roslindale, MA. It was eventually destroyed by fire in 1954.
