Williams8 Whitney (Williams7, Eliab Turner6, Josiah5, John4, Nathaniel3, Benjamin2, John1), son of Williams7 and Rosalinda Harlow (Merry) Whitney, was born 25 Jul 1876, Bath, ME.

He married 26 Dec 1905, Vinalhaven, ME, Alica C. Hopkins, daughter of Hiram and Maria (Cooper) Hopkins. She was born 1879, Vinalhaven, ME, and died 17 Jul 1937, Bath, ME.

In 1900 he resided with his mother, and was a drug clerk, probably for L.B. Swett & Co. His father is not mentioned in the 1900 census. In 1910 he had become a dentist.
