Charles Carroll8 Whitney (J. Wesley7, Sewell Pitt6, Barnabas5, Isaac4, Nathaniel3, Benjamin2, John1), son of J. Wesley7 and Ann Augusta (Furbish) Whitney, was born 9 Mar 1873, Freeman, ME, and died 22 Feb 1936, Farmington, ME.

He married 4 Aug 1907, Temple, ME, Justina Ripley, daughter of Ossian and Nellie J. (Grover) Ripley. She was born 3 Nov 1888, Jay, ME, and died 4 Dec 1973, prob. Framington, ME. Both are buried in the Riverside Cemetery in Farmington, ME.

i. Reginald E.9 Whitney, b. ca. 1909, prob. Auburn, ME.
