Joseph⁶ Whitney (Benjamin⁵, James⁴, John³, Jonathan², John¹), son of Benjamin⁵ and Esther (Leland) Whitney, was born 15 Dec 1762, Sherborn, MA,^[1] and died 5 Apr 1846, Gardner, MA, aged 83 years 3 months 20 days, of palsy.^[2]

He married, 3 Oct 1792, Framingham, MA, Sarah Park,^[3] daughter of Gideon and Hannah (Fuller) Park. She was born 22 Dec 1773, Newton, MA, and died 4 May 1846, Gardner, MA, aged 73 years 4 months 12 days, of mortification of the bowels.^[4]

He resided Gardner, MA.
