Albert Appleton⁷ Whitney (Appleton Downer⁶, Asa⁵, Joshua⁴, William³, Joshua², John¹), son of Appleton Downer⁶ and Dolly Wyman, was born 10 Dec 1811, and died Oct 1854, New London, OH.

He married, 1833, Jenette Brown. She died 1849, Wellington OH (according to Pierce, but appears in 1850 census).

He was a farmer, and was extensively engaged in buying and selling cattle. He resided New London, OH.
